The Clergy - Halloween 3001

An exert from the Evite:

It was 20 years ago when we first met. It was nap time at the Teets and Tots Nursery School in Anytown, USA. Our teacher, Miss Lupus, stepped outside to smoke a Pall Mall. I knew this was my chance to change the "scenery" from nap time to party time. I crawled under the teacher's desk to look for the record player and some old Raffi records. I was not alone. Baby Dino, Little Ryan, Mini-Adam, and Tom-Tom were all there under the desk thinking the same thing. Next think you know, fermented apple juice was passed around the room and the tunes were cranked to "level 11" on the player. We knew then that there was something special in the air; a common dream to have a good time. It was that day that the Clergy was born. A group of friends dedicated to throwing outlandish parties for no particular reason.

Fast forward to today. I've hated Adam for years. Dean and Tom's Mom have been having an affair. Ryan killed my hamster three years ago and just told me this morning. It was Adam that put tuna fish in Tom's carburetor but always blamed Ryan. And Dean's a sloppy drunk that just can't seem to get his act together. And for these reasons and several more, the Clergy is breaking up.

But not without one more party.

The End of the World Festival will be the largest party we have ever thrown. Come celebrate Armageddon at Ryan Game's Pool Side Hacienda and BBQ at 14 Gavin Circle in Andover, MA at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 13th. For a $10 cover charge there will be enough food and beer to last everyone all day and all night. Custom made T-Shirts will be handed out at the door.

Everyone will be divided into two teams with scheduled events all day long. Everyone is invited to partake in as many activities as they choose or none at all.

Some of the events will include Horseshoes, Hot Dog Eating Contest, Croquet, Boat Races, Whiffleball, Keg-Kickball, Volleyball, Flip Cup, Chicken fights, Badminton, 45's Tourney, Pool Basketball, Egg Toss, Funneling Races, Pool Relay Races, Beirut, Foam Wrestling, Tug of War, And many many more....

Adam Colucci and friends will perform live and we will be having a full blown foam party at night.

Don't miss this Last Waltz.

The Fun Police are laying the ground rules to the various attendees of the End of the World Party - some visitors choose to select the path of Good and others, in a disturbingly enthusiastic way, select the path of Evil.

Ryan approves good times.

Zach is the first one to be called out for not having a good time. Fun Police Officer Adam dispenses his punishment in liquid form.

Whatever the charge was for "Not having fun," Nick and Sarah were apparently found guilty by the authorities. In keeping with his duties as a Fun Police officer, Mike will keep a watchful eye on them once they are released for "fun behavior."

A Fun Police Officer relaxes with some smokin' hottie

An intense game of Pool Basketball ensues - who will win - Good or Evil - Dallas ponders the implications of either result.

The Evil Kletjian makes a friendly gesture to the Good Bud in an intense Armageddon of Volleyball.

As one can assume, no End of the World party would be complete without a band, so we accommodated with an incredible performance of talented tattooed trobadours

Jammy, jam, jam

Fun Police Officer Adam had single handedly enforced a 20% increase in fun within the day and nights activities.

Fun Police Officer Dean is using his fun techniques he learned in the force to woo the ladies - he is strictly by the book.

The band is still playing and the numbers are growing as the day moves to night.

Dancing is encouraged.

As the sun sets, the number of Good people are reduced and Evil begins crowding the scene.

Jim, too, shows us his enthusiasm for good times.

The band keeps rockin'

Late night swimmin'

Are we out of kegs yet?

Even people that are arrested for not having fun appear to be having fun - how fun.
